Romke Hoogwaerts produces livestreams, documentary films and photobooks.

As a video producer/TD/V1, he has worked with clients in the corporate space, performing arts clients such as Performa, Pageant, Marc Rebillet, work x work through Hekmor, and with social organizations such as Jewish Voice for Peace, Housing Justice for All and NYCDSA. His personal work includes Vreugdevuur Scheveningen (a documentary film and photobook about a bonfire rivalry in The Netherlands). He previously ran Mossless (an indie print and web publishing project), edited and designed The Reservoir (a photography webzine) and as a photo editor he worked at Bloomberg Businessweek, NYTimes Mag and NBCUniversal. He was raised by Dutch parents in South East Asia and graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Visual & Critical Studies in 2013.
