Romke Hoogwaerts produces livestreams, documentary films and photobooks.
With Hekmor he has worked with clients such as Performa, Marc Rebillet, Pageant, work x work, and NYCDSA. His personal work includes Vreugdevuur Scheveningen (a documentary film and photobook about a bonfire rivalry in The Netherlands). He previously ran Mossless (an indie print and web publishing project), edited and designed The Reservoir (a photography webzine) and as a photo editor he worked at Bloomberg Businessweek, NYTimes Mag and NBCUniversal. He was raised by Dutch parents in South East Asia and graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Visual & Critical Studies in 2013.
